Therapies

Our therapies are offered to everyone: men, women, the elderly and children. The following therapies are available separately or in combination based on your needs. Swedish Massage: A gentle and relaxing massage using long strokes. Helps to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation and lymph flow throughout the body. Deep Tissue Massage: Targeting knots and adhesions in deeper muscles. Helps decrease muscle pain and loosens contracted or shortened muscles. Myofascial Release: Fascia (connective tissue) covers all muscle fibers throughout the body. Slow strokes help release fascial adhesions and breaks up scar tissue. This work increases hydration of tissues, improves postural distortions and relieves stress on joints. Joint Mobilization: Joint movement and stretching to increase range of motion. Helps bring awareness of holding patterns. Great for old injuries and joint surgeries. Lymphatic Drainage: Very slow and light strokes towards the heart help decrease swelling and inflammation. Increases circulation and speeds up healing after injury, surgery or being immobile. Used with pregnant women, those who may be at risk for blood clotting and Lymphodema. Neuromuscular Therapy: This treatment involves a deep, intensive manipulation of the soft tissue. By applying pressure to specific points in the muscle, which speak to the nervous system at a spinal cord level, chronic spasms are released and aches are relieved. Moist Heat Packs: Moist heat is used for chronically tight and sore areas. Muscles are able to sweat out toxins and soften up. A great addition to your massage. Aromatherapy: Aromatherapy may be added to your massage. See your therapist at time of appointment. More Therapies... Chair Massage (corporate & parties): Offering to offices, outdoor events, parties including Mom’s groups, bridal & baby showers, etc. Manicures and pedicures also offered. Call for details. Couples Massage: See separate page The Ionic Hydrotherapy Foot Spa: A foot bath that cleanses, detoxifies and restores the body by eliminating chemicals and re-establishing the bio-energetic fields of your body. Your feet soak in warm water for 30 minutes while an electro magnetic device called an array pulls toxins through the 4000 pores in your feet. Contraindicated for pregnant and breast-feeding mothers, organ transplant recipients, those with epileptic seizures, children under 8, and those with a pacemaker or electronic device. La Stone Therapy (The Original Hot Stone Massage): Integrating heated basalt stones with massage to decrease trigger point pain, releases toxins and increases circulation. La Stone Therapy leaves you feeling energized and invigorated! Sessions run 90 minutes. Prenatal and Postpartum Massage: See separate page Thai Yoga Massage: See separate page Custom blended Bath Salts, Salt Scrubs and Brown-sugar Scrubs: Choose from over 30 different essential oil blends. The bath salts make a great soak, and help ease sore muscles. The scrubs smell delicious, while exfoliating your skin.
